Fitness Testing

GVS students complete fitness tests twice a year starting in third grade. Use the following documents and videos below to get a better understanding of how our fitness tests work!

Healthy Fitness Zones: The Healthy fitness zones are national averages which give students a target zone that they should be in for each fitness test. The documents are organized by gender and age. Each student attempts to reach the healthy fitness zone in each of the fitness tests. Here are the two documents: Boys / Girls
