2024-2025 Kindergarten Registration

Kindergarten registration is now open for children who will be 5 years old on or before September 30, 2024.
 
Documents Required for Registration (fillable PDFs available below):
  • Birth Certificate
  • Residency Affidavit
  • Home Language Survey
  • Most recent physical and immunization records
  • Kindergarten Questionnaire
  • 2 Proof of Residency Documentation
    • Copy of utility bill with physical address listed
AND one of the following:
 
Homeowner Recently Closed Recently Made Offer Renter 
  • Copy of your most recent property tax statement
  • Copy of settlement agreement
  • Copy of warranty deed
  • Copy of the settlement statement from closing
  • Warranty deed
  • Signed purchase agreement 
  • Upon closing, provide a copy of the settlement statement or warranty deed within 60 days
Copy of lease agreement with the term/dates listed. The agreement MUST contain property owners name, address, phone number, and signature; and name and signature of parent/guardian. 

 

***Note: Moving in with a person in an apartment will not be accepted, unless your name is on the lease or listed on the lease under occupants. Also, if you are living in a shared housing situation with a renter or property owner, and your name isn't on legal documents, you will need to complete and have notarized a "Cohabitation Affidavit". Please contact the Front Office for that form.***

We will have meet and greet sessions and information sessions for parents at some point in May or June.

GVS Before School are opens at 7:30am, Monday through Friday when school is in session. It is for students in grades K-6th. Students who attend will be in the cafeteria with Mrs. Googins and Mrs. Bailey. At 8:10, the BSP will go outside for morning recess, joining the other kids who are arriving at school. The morning recess is available at no charge to any student in grades K-6th with no registration necessary.  The students will enter the building at 8:30. The cost is $3.00, per day. Free or reduced status may impact the price. 
Grantham Children's Academy provides after school care. This is not affiliated with Grantham Village School. If you are interested in this you will need to contact Grantham Children's Academy for all information.
