Reading Specialist

Grantham Village School (PreK-6) is looking for a Reading Specialist to begin in Fall 2019. The successful candidate must have a strong knowledge base of ELA curriculum, instruction, and assessment; literacy interventions; and current best practices in professional development. Positive communication skills, the ability to lead initiatives, and the ability to work on a team are essential. Current certification as a Reading Specialist (or Statement of Eligibility for such) is required. Speech Language Pathologist

Grantham School District is seeking candidates for the position of Speech Language Pathologist for the 2019-20 school year. The successful candidate will have the specific competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of anatomy and physiology of speech and hearing mechanisms and disorders; principles and practices of speech and language therapy; and pertinent codes, policies, regulations and/or laws pertaining to speech pathology. Experience with social communication disorders and social thinking practice is necessary. Positive communication skills, the ability to take initiative, and the ability to work on a team are required. Master’s in Speech/Language, NH Certification, and other appropriate speech certifications required. This position is full time with benefits. Long Term Teacher Substitute

Experience teaching elementary-aged children in all content and skill areas. Must have knowledge of reading, writing, math instruction, positive communication skills, ability to take initiative and the ability to work on a team. Current New Hampshire certification as an Elementary Educator is required. This position is temporary and begins August 23, 2019.
