After School Program Staff

We currently have an opening for a staff member in our after school program. The staff member will be responsible for providing an appropriately safe, caring environment and will assist in the daily operations of the program. Experience working with elementary aged children is preferred. The staff member must be responsible, flexible, and reliable. Hours: Mon.-Thurs. 3:00pm -6:00pm. Grantham Village School (PK-6) is seeking a qualified Paraeducator. The preferred candidate has experience with supporting children with special needs (academic, physical, behavioral and/or social-emotional challenges) in the classroom, behavior intervention plans, data collection, and elementary-aged children. The successful candidate must have positive communication skills, the ability to take initiative, and the ability to work on a team. 1:1 Nurse

The Grantham School District has an opening for a 1:1 nurse to participate in a classroom setting with a student with complex medical needs. This position begins August 29, 2019 through March 13, 2020. The successful candidate will provide nursing care only for the student to whom they are assigned within the classroom and during transit to and from school. Duties will include but are not limited to actively engaging in nursing care and observation of the student during the entire school day which may be modified as needed; documenting all nursing care provided to the student in an accurate and timely manner and providing health and nursing information as requested; communicate directly with the building school nurse and classroom teacher to develop a safe plan in their absence; abide by all school district and building policies including a signed confidentiality agreement and the capacity to lift 50 lbs. Must be a licensed RN with the state of NH and hold a current CPR certification.
