TAB babysitting Fundraiser
3/15
6-9PM
Would you like to participate in a local fundraiser but don't have sitter? Need a date night? How about dinner with the girls! Let the DFL Teen Advisory Board take care of you kids for a few hours while you relax and enjoy some time before school gets out and you have them ALL THE TIME! Your kids will enjoy a movie, have some popcorn, maybe do some crafts and play some games, and you will enjoy the company of other adults. Or don't, its your choice, but you will have 3 hours with no kids!We ask that only children who can use the bathroom independently attend.Suggested donation is $15 a child, and $10 for each additional child. While this is a fundraiser for TAB, and donations are greatly appreciated they are not mandatory for your child to participate. The Teen Advisory Board plan on using the money to host special T(w)een nights, decorate the T(w)een room, donate books to the library, as well as many other activates/items to help get more teens to utilizing the library. There will also be adults on hand to make sure everything goes down without a hitch.Website: https://dunbarlibrary.org/mc-events/tab-babysitting-fundraiser/?mc_id=353

Becoming Wolf: Eastern Coyotes in New Hampshire
3/20
7PM
The Draper Room in Eastman
Myths surround the coyote and cloud our understanding of it. Originating as the smaller western coyote, our eastern coyote shares genes with the eastern wolf, the grey wolf and the western coyote. Its hybrid nature enables its resilience and adaptability to live in farms, forest, or city.
It has rewilded the northeast with its howl and ability to prey on large and small mammals but despite its ecological benefits, it is the most persecuted carnivore in North America. And despite human efforts to eradicate it, it survives and thrives among us.
