This is a friendly reminder that 5th graders will be headed on a field trip to the Freedom Trail in Boston on Thursday, May 22nd. Please note that they are leaving early--the bus leaves at 8:00 a.m. sharp, so please drop off your student by 7:45 a.m. The bus will arrive back at the school between 4:30-5:00. Please make sure students have a snack and water bottle and either bring a sack lunch or order a bag lunch from the cafeteria. Internet-enabled devices should be left at home, but travel games, books or other appropriate activities to pass time on the bus are welcome. Please send your student to school with sunscreen applied, wearing sneakers/appropriate footwear for walking around, and a two-strap (i.e. not drawstring) backpack to carry their items.
Please note: rain is in the forecast and it will be on the chilly side. This tour happens, rain or shine! Please pack an appropriate water-repellent jacket, NOT an umbrella, for your student.
